Email groups are used to share sector and section information on current affairs and meetings. Discussions on current affairs may also take place in the section groups. The moderator will check emails and approve them. Please remember to write in Finnish and English (abstract at minimum).
The student union’s main email groups operate on the Mailman programme, meaning that you can join and leave them yourself using email commands. For example, you can leave a group by sending an email to email@example.com. The subject and message fields can be left empty.
The student union also has other email groups, for the guild council, all organisations and old TTYY boards, for example. For more information on these groups and their moderation, please contact the board’s communications representative.
There are numerous notification boards all over the TUT campus in different buildings and each notification board has its own use. General notification boards are located in the lobbies of the Konetalo, Rakennustalo, Sähkötalo and Tietotalo buildings as well as the Main building. For notifications posted by external parties, a stamp must be acquired from the student union office, on the 1st floor of the Tietotalo building (Paula’s desk). For more detailed instructions on how to use the notification boards, please refer to the notification board directive.
