Guilds

There are 12 student organisations or guilds at TUT, and their purpose is to bring together the students of a certain programme, safeguard their interests and organise various events. The most visible activities include sauna evenings, excursions, sports events and freshmen activities but guilds also organise vocational subject infos, orientations and other useful events. The most important insignia for a guild is the overall and each guild has their own colour. Each guild also has a guild room where students from freshmen to more advanced science practitioners are welcome to spend time.

Which guild should I join?

You can join any guild. Still, if you would prefer meeting people who study the same subject as you, just check out these recommendations. You should ask your tutors to show you where your guild room is situated and who is the international responsible of the guild.
